Question: hey,

was wondering the tonal differences btwn the pbass Antiquity I and II
pickups? thx!

Hello!
The II will sound a bit brighter a punchier.
The I is rounder and warmer sounding with a looser feel.

I've played on the Antiquity II pickups and I agree with SDs description compared to a stock P from the 60s. I haven't tried the I yet though.

Hmmm come to think of it I think I had Antiquity I P in that 62RI I was telling you about.

I had Antiquity II J's in a geddy -- and those ROCK as well but that's OT.

Its confusing with the Is and IIs, I'd go with what Duncan is telling you.
