Do it yourself pickup wiring?

I am planning on installing replacement passive pickups in my bass. Vol Vol Tone. Is this something that I can do myself? I feel I can. Anything else I need besides the pups and a soldering iron?

Well, pups and a soldering iron are a must, but I'd also advise you get heat-shrink tubing and a heat gun - that way you can do your insulation better. Of course, you'd do well to have a printout of the V/V/T schematic. If the pickups are of the same size as the old ones, you need no extra equipment.
