EMG 35HZ vs Seymour Duncan STK-j1
 

I want to add second pickup in bridge position into my p-bass for more tone versatility.
Which one would you suggest EMG 35hz or Seymour Duncan STK-J1? I m on a limited budget so these 2 are the only ones I can afford. I would avoid SJB1 and SJB2, because I can't stand any hum noise. Can anyone describe what kind of tone each one of the pickups have? I m a noob regarding pickups.

a dimarzio area J or ultra J will be way better for about the same money.

Thanks for the suggestion. But there is only one DiMarzio distributor in my country and I don't see any Area J or Ultra J on their site. I 'll contact them about ordering, and hoping the price would not be higher because of that.
Anyway, if I couldn't get DiMarzio what is better option between the EMG and Duncan?

Can anyone describe the tone of this specific EMG's and compare them to these Duncan? Can't find any audio samples.
