I know EMG is using a stock photo for the webpage which is not helpful.
I'm fairly certain if it's recent it would say p5 on the label on the back of the pickup, much like this photo of the box. EMG uses the same physical shell size for each pickup which makes determining it to be a P5 or P6 a label only thing.

| You could approximate this will some iron filings and a piece of paper, but you'd need to be careful or it could get messy.
