EMG B30?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just ordered a Spector Legend 5 Custom. It should arrive next week. I'm going to take out the EMG HZs and put in some DCs. I was thinking about swapping out the pre-amp for an Aggy OB3 or a BQC system. The bass has B30 pre-amp in it and I can't find much information on it. If it's a decent pre I won't bother taking it out. I'm also kicking myself in the head because I have an earlier Legend model that had it instilled. But as soon as it came in I had the tech guy at my local shop swap the electronics and I never gave it a chance. So does anybody have any comments on it?

Id go with the emg bqc preamp myself. The stock preamp is ok, but the bqc is nice step up.
