EMG B64 3 band eq & new pups

I have a esp B255 with a EMG B64 eq and EMG HZs. I am wanting to put a set of Active DCs in this bass. Can that work with the active B64 eq? Can i convert this to 18v? Where can i find wiring diagram to do this? could not find on emgs site. Thanks

Provided you switch out the volume pots with 25k pots, it will work with the DCs.

Converting from 9V to 18V is easily done - just connect the negative terminal from one 9V battery into the positive terminal of the other:

Thanks, I know what i need to do to run 18v, just want to be sure thats ok with that pre amp. Why do i need to change the volume pot? Not doubting you just wondering why.

I did it with my LTD F-255. Left the B64 and put in 2 40DCs. I emailed EMG and they shot me back a diagram asap. New volume pots are provided with the pickups when you get them btw. Only thing I haven't done is get a blend control knob, so I have 2 volumes wired at the moment.
