What is the frequency center for the bass control? I can't seem to find any mention of it on EMG site?

You've probably seen this, but the frequency response curve for the BTS is shown in the installation instructions.

I've always gotten a quick response from EMG so I'd recommend that you ask them.

I used to have one of these. I never liked it and was glad to sell it.

I called EMG and the guy said it was centered around 300 hz? He didn't sound very sure of himself and that seems kind of high to me? Could this be correct?

Well, it's a shelving control so it lifts the whole low end of the spectrum as shown in the graph that I linked above.

The highest frequency that the bass control lifts is in the 300 Hz range, but it doesn't boost that as much as the low, low end.

That makes sense. I have 2 euro spectors....one has the BTS and one has the tonepump. I like both but they are so drastically different that switching between them on a gig requires a lot of adjustment to the amp. I think I'm going to make them both the same and the BTS seems much more flexible. Thanks!
