EMG DC40's into a Bart pre-amp?

hey guys.

I'll be buying some EMG DC40's to replace the anaemic Bartolinis on my Pedulla pentabuzz fretless.

The current pre-amp is a bartolini one. Will the EMG's work well with it? Would the EMG's run a bit too hot into it?
