EMG feedback resiliance

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a P bass that i am wanting to use in a very loud rock project - running it thru a RAT/SVT cranked.
my current bass feedsback a lot as soon as i unmute it.
i was considering putting some EMG pickups in there as i understand they are very quiet.
would users say they may resist the feedback from my high gain more than passive pickups... say SD quarter pounders or something similiar?

thanks
