I think they're just the standard EMG-Hz pickup in a MM sized case. I had a Shecter DV-4 that had one of these in it I wasn't that impressed.

I was excited about the EMG MM, but am not a fan of Hz's tone at all. Then started hearing that they're basic Hz's in a MM case.

No one seems willing to come forward and verify differently.
