i'm glad they worked. when i talked to them a couple of years ago they told me that they would work on a 5 string as long as the dimensions were the same. it worked for me on my carvin 5 and i'm glad that they will work on your warwick.

Thanks for your help LF! Now my 4 string sits in the corner.....very very sad. It has no pickups or strings on it but no worries little 4 string friend.....a new EMG set is on the way and I have a brand new set of prosteels for you.

Just got my UPS tracking from Zzounds....the EMG set will be delivered tomorrow. Man I love that place....ordered after 5pm and still get the stuff next day with regular ground (only from NJ to PA shipping though).

damn!!! thats good. i'm going on almost 2 weeks waiting on a set of duncans from arkansas to texas, they're coming snail mail. i'm starting to think the post office lost them.

I never tried them.....or heard a bass with them in it before. I bet they do sound good though. I really like these EMG's a lot. There is always something better out there though. LOL

Not to beat this topic to death.....but I wanted to add this as well for future questions about EMG pickups working in a 5 string.

The "2.08" quoted by the tech at EMG was incorrect as well. The document I found today shows 2.725 which makes a lot more sense. I think mine measure about 2.75 with a tape so that makes sense why it does work then. Here is the document (which does come with the pickups that I received).

which EMG jazz pu would work on a 19mm spacing bass like the Carvin SB5000?

I have the JAX Pickups in my Brubaker Brute JJX-5 which is 19m at the bridge with no issues...

Ok, the JAX seems to differ from the J series in that it's Alnico instead of ceramic. Aside from that, the pickups appears to have the same size.
