EMG MM VS Musicman Humbuckers

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm thinking about replacing the standard pickup that comes with the Stingray I purchased 2 years ago with the EMG MM (either the TW or CS, still deciding on whats best for the music I play).

What are people's opinions on the two. Anyone used both and have an idea of which sounds better?

I play in a band similar to Thrice, Stretch Arm Strong etc and I like my bass sounding eally round and gritty.

man i have two things to say to you 1. DELANO (a hi-fi sounding great modern sound good lows impressive slaps) 2. NORDSTRAND (mid-lows muscle just a little bit dark but just a bit with a turn of your pre you can make it sound as you want)

Thumbs up

I know this guy gets great sounds from his StingRay using Seymour Duncans:
