EMG MMCS vs. Nordstrand MM4.2

Sign in to disble this ad
I've recently had a EMG MMCS go out on me in my GMP Elite 4-string. I have a EMG SJ in the neck. I liked the EMG MMCS in the bridge, it was really clear. But I never could get it to sound exactly the way I wanted. Didn't have quite the punch and cut I was looking for. I've read a lot about the Nordstrand MM4.2 and how they sound really close to the original Music Man pickups. I was thinking it may be a better replacement than just buying another MMCS.

What does everyone else think?
