EMG and Nords, help?

Thinking of replacing the pickups in my Spector with either EMG DC's or Nordstand DC's. Does anyone have any ideas how the sounds of the Nordies compared to the EMG's? I know I can get the Nords in parallel or series, so a comparison on each would be greatly appreciated!

I've not played nerdstrams but I can say spectors with active emgs sound very nice.
