Hi there. Can anyone suggest an online shop where I can buy EMG p-ups. I have so far found only USA based shops and apparently they cannot ship to other countries due to a contractual agreement with EMG.
I have written to EMG to no avail. Thank God their products are better than their customer service. I can always wait to go back to Europe in a few months. Or, I can always buy another set of Bartolini but what the heck!
I live in Asia and can't find the one I want over here. An order takes a few months to clear. Any suggestion? thanks a lot. |

There are some overseas distributors listed on their website. You might try emailing them? |

If you're ordering in the US, I do NOT recommend Don's Music City, which is linked on EMG's website as a USA internet dealer.
I ordered a BTS System and two JL pickups. The shipment arrived a week later with the BTS and ONE pickup. I was charged for both. I called that day, and was told they would send the other J pickup right out.
After it hadn't arrived after a week, I sent an email to them. I got no answer. The next day, I called at 4 in the afternoon, and was told the shipping person wasn't there today so they couldn't tell me anything. A day after that, they responded to my email with a tracking number that showed the pickup was to be sent the next day. It finally arrived a few days later. SO...I DID get the products I ordered, but an initial small mistake.....only including one pickup in my order, was compounded by someone lying to me about the second being sent out, and then only sending it out after I contacted them in two different ways. |

It will ultimately be cheaper to wait until you go to Europe again, and then just stick them in your travel bag.

But they either don't carry what I want - and require a couple of months for get it - or are too far from here (Malaysia) anyway. Which makes then waiting for my next Europe trip the best option.
Still, I can't believe this makes sense to EMG business-wise. It doesn't make any sense to me. Certainly not after months of trying to purchase their product.
Well EMG, if you're out there listening, please note that Bartolini (and many more) is just one simple click away. |

I'd suggest anything over Bartolini, but I just don't care for their products.
