EMG opinions... has anyone tried the new EMG-PA?

Tossing this one out to see if anyone has any experience with the new EMG-PA vs. the EMG-P? What are the similarities, differences in tone? I'm looking for low end ooomph, with rich mids (not 'honking' mids) and a nice top end too, but not harsh or brittle. Thoughts???
