EMG P J or DiMarzio P J?

What do you recomend, and why? I am talking about the active EMG's..should i buy them over those Dimarzios?

Tonewise see FAQ Dimento's P/J or P and J experiments - and google for other reviews.

In terms of function the Dimarzio's have more wiring options and can be used with an onboard preamp but you don't have the wiring options with the EMG's and there's no passive option with them. With the EMG's no battery no sound.

They're both good pups - and as different as cats and dogs.
