EMG P Pickups

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

Wanted to share some info on evaluating pickups, I was on the verge of selling my American P bass with EMG's with flats.
I took it to practice this last week and I am sure glad I did. I am very happy with the tone and punch from the EMG's. All I can say is to evaluate new pickups at practice or gig volume for a full evaluation.

Peace,
R

High qaulity headphones are also excellent way to help evaluate pups too. And are good aid for tweaking the pups pole peices if adjustable, and its overall height and if applicable, its tilt. But yes, evaluating pups in a full mix is very important along with at various volumes for listen to.
