EMG with passive harness

Sign in to disble this ad
hey,

I decided to dump the OBP2 I just installed in my Warwick Streamer and go with passive tone controls.

I checked EMG's site but couldnt find diagrams.
I want a seperate volume and tone pot for each pickup (P/J).

would appreciate it if someone could provide a wiring diagram or tell me where I can find one.

thanks!

Look here:

http://www.emginc.com/downloads/wiri.../PJ_models.pdf

which was in the "Wiring and Installation" section of the EMG site.

Mike, I seen this PDF, no help - I'm talking about a 2 pickups, 2 volume and 2 tone setup. this is 2 volume 1 tone which is completely different.

they have another PDF showing a Les Paul diagram which is what I need but without the 3 way switch so I'm back to the starting point.

So what's to keep you from using the Les Paul-type 2V/2T diagram, except with the two hot wires just connected in parallel instead of going to the switch? Isn't that what the circuit looks like with the switch in the center (both pickups on)?

For 2 volume 2 tone for a P & J Bass just lookup P bass wiring . The J will be the same.
Pot values on my Chinnse made P & J bass with 2 volumes & 2 pots it had all @ 500k

Hi if you look at this link just treat each pickup a a p other as a j with the hot wire from input just by pass the switch.
http://www.seymourduncan.com/support..._2t_3way2.html

2 things you said you wanted passive ( or should it be active )?
also with the J pickup its just 1 pickup?
