EMG pickup to NTBT preamp question

Do I tie the red wires from the EMG's to the red wire from the preamp?

The Bart directions don't address my scenario

Also, I've read I need a 25k vol. pot, and I have a 20k will that work?

i currently use emg with some cheap bart preamp.

For volume and blend pot i use the emg one then just add the preamp on.
