EMG pickups configuration

I'm building a 5 string all maple bass ( maple body,neck,fingerboard). Thinking of EMG active pickups, and need advice for a configuration ( neck and bridge ). I am looking for a powerful lows, and bright sound for slap.....

I bought this bass (thread link below) a while ago from Mohawk Harry and I must say this emg pickup configuration is the best I've heard up to now.

looks pretty nice, but i am looking for humbucker configuration, and i also need recommendation for a specific setup.
