does any have this installed in there stingray sterling or any musicman. picutures of them installed would be awesome to. i love the way my stingray sounds right now but would these make it any better, cus sometimes hitting the poles makes a nasty sound, would theses get rid of that? anyone have soundclips/pics. thanks alot guys.

and is there a big differance between that one and the "twin" one?

Some electrical tape over your poles would fix the nasty noises. Or, if you're not into the "working man's look," try some clear nail polish. No sense in replacing pickups if you like the sound of the bass.

Lower your pickups a bit if your sometimes hitting the poles

AFAIK fieldy uses covered humbuckers in his bass (Ibanez K5, they're barts though) and he still gets that nasty ass sound

so the electrical tape idea seems better imo.
