Alright, it's a growl thread in disguise.
In all seriousness, this bass tone is exactly what I'm trying to replicate, low end rumble/growl. Textured ripply goodness in the low end, like a purr.
From what I've seen in the videos, Baron Browne plays a J. So I'm thinking it must be either PUPs, amp, or effect bc I can't seem to cop the same tone with my J.
