I just got a second hand warmoth jazz body which has a side input jack. I have a 4 hole control plate right now that will be wired to VVT passive.
What should I use that extra hole for? Any thoughts?
I was going to do an active/passive toggle as well as an active/passive switch, but I'd rather not put either of those in the extra hole... any thoughts?

| | | | I agree with the dummy pot idea, you could just keep fiddling with it at random points during shows, and if anybody asks, you could just say "it helps keep me from ripping open the space/time continuum with my awesomeness" or something like that. I dunno, it gives you a chance to mess with people.

However, it just goes in between the output wire and jack. So, it's really just a boost and not a tone shaping device.

Otherwise, series/parallel, tone cap selection, killswitch, etc. |

Maybe what I really need is a rotary, concentric, dpdt switch.

You don't want that extra load on your signal. It's best to use an active/passive switch. |

Tell everyone that it is an onboard version of the BOA!
