| F bass dead pot problem

Had a dead neck volume pot on my 2006 BN4 (recently puchased.) Replaced the pot with a new 250K and it worked fine, now next day, dead again. Any suggestions? Thanks!
update...replaced the pot again and now it's working.... again...maybe a circuit glitch...two push pulls and a preamp in the F Bass
and dead again in the morning....hmmmm have a mail into F bass on this...might be a phantom ground issue
