Yeh, that seems logical to me and in essence what I was referring to in terms of realtionship. I have read pieces stating with two lead pups that sometimes inverting leads can create a grounding issue. Can't say as I understand why since the "hot" and "ground" leads as opposite ends of the same wire.
The Pole thing is another issue that crops up at times. I recall specifically a Bart wiring diagram starting that a pair of pups could be wired as diagramed to a obtain specified results with the stipulation that both pups had to have magnet north facing the neck. Didn't turn one around at the time to see what difference it would make if it were done otherwise.
Both of the above are sort of wierd and out of the normal but it helps to have some awareness of them so if something wierd crops up your not left scratching your head without a clue. That's when I'll start digging for answers but not until. It doesn't occur with enough frequency to bother with otherwise.
