Fave pickups for SVT Classic Head

I am new to passive pups and J style, and the Ampeg SVT Classic tube head. I have always loved EMG actives, but not lately. I am digging the passives and the J's. The EMGs seem really harsh, clicky, trebly, etc, all of a sudden. I was using GK solid state heads before. I am also a very aggressive player and bang away quite a bit. What do you guys prefer with the SVT and why?

I've used both active and passive with SVT's...I prefer passives these days but anything sounds good in an SVT.
