| Fender 62 original P-bass pup dimensions

I want to buy the above for my Squier CV P but cant find the dimensions anywhere.
The reason i need to know them is the pup i have in the bass already (not the stock one) is a bit big for the pup cut out in the PG. I've filed the PG down and have it fitted and working but i want to change the PG and really dont want to go through all that again so im looking to put a new pup in the bass (not just because of the PG issue).
If anyone could measure theirs or point me in the right direction i would be very grateful.
