Fender American Vintage 62 Jazz Ground Strip/Strap Installation?

Hey Guys,
Have any of you installed the ground strap/strip on your 62 jazzes? I just picked up a really nice 3 tone sunburst I haven't even dug into the case candy. It looks like Fender hasn't installed them for awhile, I 'm just wondering if it's a major operation? I am not very mechanically inclined.
Thanks,
Brent

Not at all, if you have a soldering iron it should be pretty easy. Check this thread out:

If it's already grounded via wire you probably don't even need to bother soldering.
