Are the Fender concentric pots for Jazz bass decent quality?

I went and bought the cheapest concentric pots I could find a couple months ago. I wish I could recall the small online store I bought them from to warn others, but I can't.

Anyhow, not two months of use and one of them has gone ******. It pops and cuts out and the inner stem needs to be wiggled to start working. The other one was weird right out of the box. The upper part of the taper was grinding and you had to force it to turn all the way up.

I just ordered some Fender concentric pots from MF, does anyone have any experience with those?

They at least used to be good pots (my experience being the VS '62 Jazz basses I've had open between 1983 and 1999). The only real problem is that often Fender left way too much rubbing compound in the control cavity after buffing the finishes. That abrasive powder will ruin any pot pretty quickly.

I'm assuming the B100K pot was for the EQ?
If that's the case, an A250K/A500K pot is not going to work.
The values are too high, the taper is different, and there won't be a center detent.

If they are both 100k the new one should work fine.
