Has anyone tried these new Overwound Fender Custom Shop 60's Jazz Bass pups?
I'm gonna drop a pair into my 73' Jazz Bass.

Well, for $109 I figured what the heck...and I need single coils to replace the split coil Sadowsky's in it now. If they don't growl enough...out they will come! Any recomendations? |

| | | | im actually looking at getting these as well. i figure custom Fender pups with a decent price tag would be a great replacement for standard MIM pups.
let me know how they sound if you get them, looking forward to how this thread develops. |

I will definetely report back on this. My 73' jass currently has a Sadowsky 2 band pre in the control plate with passive active switch and I am torn between leaving it in, or dropping the original 73' plate and pots back in. I usually run the Sadowsky passive so I am leaning toward the 73' plate. Any thoughts? |
