Fender Jazz with bartolini pre
 

Hi talkbassers,

i would like to update my Fender Jazz bass with an onbard-preamp.
Have anyone ever build this preamp into that kind of bass?
Does it fit inside or do i have to make any modifications?

Yessir! I modded my US Fender Jazz with Bartolini Classic Series Single Coil 'Brights' pickups and added a Bartolini 3.3AP 2 band preamp! It smokes! Think Larry Graham!

You will have to make mods to fit the module and batteries (mine is wired for 18v). Here's a pic of mine underneath the pickguard. If you want the active/passive feature, purchase from www.bestbassgear.com
