I went with the 62 jazz wiring and works pretty well as long as both volumes arent dimed. If they are then there is a volume drop and the tones affect one another. If you roll one slightly off then they work independently quite well.

I am considering a tone mod on my Tribby SB-2 and may base it off this.. Seeing your experience I think i will put try a small series resistor with the caps (like 4.7k or 6.8k) to provide some isolation..
