graphtech piezo problem

hey. somebody who has graphtech piezo bridge saddles in the bass could really help me. my bass has two sidewinder pickups with just volumes and the piezo in it. i used the wiring diagram that is in the graptech home page, but that doesn't work. strange hum when i turn the bridge pickup off and the piezo doesn't work at all. so does someone have another wiring diagram or can explain why my system doesn't work.

the piezo worked nicely when i didn't have the magnetic pickups wired yet, so the problem is not in the piezo but in the wiring of magnetic pickups.

do you have an active piezo buffer preamp in there? piezos sound like crap and don't work well without a proper preamp.

Yes it has the graphtech's acoustic system buffer. The piezo sounds great, that is not the problem. The wiring is somehow messed up.
