ground problem

sorry if this has been addressed a million times, but i've got a two month tour beginning in two weeks and my bass decided to start buzzing yesterday. it's a musicman stingray 5 and my problem is a little different than the others i've read. when i am not touching anything on the bass it it quiet, if im playing (only touching the strings) it is still quiet, but if i touch any of the pots, it will buzz unless i also touch the strings at the same time. any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. thanks.

Check to make sure that your ground wire is well connected to all of the pot backs and from the pots to the strings (via the bridge or tailpiece). That would be the first places I would look. Also make sure the ground wire on your output jack is making a good connection.
