Help! Aguilar OBP-3 sweepable mid question!

Sign in to disble this ad
Anyone here have any luck wiring up the preamp with the sweepable mid pot option? I had it wired EXACTLY as the scematic says, and used the recommended pot, and it has the typical linear taper effect....a very drastic change in the first 1/4 turn of the knob, then no change in frequency as you turn the knob. The diagram said to use a liner taper, but wouldn't it make more sense to use audio taper?

Heeeellllpp!

I experienced the same thing. The linear taper is correct for this application. Try contacting Aguilar support. They're very responsive.
