Help with EMG PJ X install

Okay, slowly installed using the directions, should be easy, right? Wrong! I have no power, does anyone know of these not working? I have must have done the install 3 times, I am losing my mind! Any advice...I wired it for V/V/T...

You have all the red wires tied together along with the red 9v wire and then the black 9v wire going to the jack correct ? I always end up soldering the black 9v wire to the wrong lug on the output jack reversing it with the tip lug. Make sure those are not backwards.

PJ VVT is easy ...

Photos might help to find the mistake ...

The EMG PJ X are active PUs?
Check the battery. You can test it with your tongue.
A little stroke means okay, just sour means empty.
Don't make it if you have serious heart problems but otherwise it's no problem. It's 9V and not 110 or 220V - but you will feel it ...

The PUs are connected to the red wire of the battery clip?
The black wire goes to the ring (middle) of a stereo jack?
You use a normal mono plug to your amp? A stereo plug wouldn't work ...
