Help me with my T-45 Franken build

I have some parts laying around, so I am planning to build a franken-fender p-bass with a single pickup from a T-40. Originally I was thinking that I would set it up identical to a T-45, but after doing some research, I'm not sure how to handle the single/dual coil function.

There seems very little info out there about the coil that was used, and it may be a hard to find, NLA part. Would wiring the single/dual tap to a toggle switch be the closest I could get? It would not be that ideal in using an 'either/or' switch vs. a variable pot, but I can't think of anything else at the moment.

I'd rather have the single/dual control vs. just punting and wiring it up in the standard p-bass fashion. Watchoo think?

A toggle will work.

So will a push/pull pot.

Single = Red to ground.

Series = Black/Green to ground.

Check this thread out: T-40 pickup, wiring help.
