If i were putting SDs into an HH stingray (or a custom with simliar config) would i just use 2x SMB-4D for example or do you need a different bridge/neck pickup. if so, any suggestions. Also can these be split or so i need to look into bartaloni's

FWIW:

Had 3 alnico 5 MM's: Nord, EB, and Carvin. To me they sounded enough a like it was splitting hairs. No 4A SD but I had the 4D and it was a brighter pup.

So if you actually have a EB HH, seems like a sensable approach would be to get a 4D and try it, then swap N/B with the EB pup and see which you prefer and if it was worth it at all.

Seems the SD's are 4 lead (so splittable). Think the site says. A bart would be a very different sounding pup then the 3 mentioned.
