So I rewired my SX MM/J doing a full copper foil shielding job. There's connectivity everywhere there should be connectivity using my multimeter. The bridge wire is soldered to the cavity foil, the jack connects to the cavity foil, all the grounds eventually lead to the cavity foil. I'm still getting some single-coil hum in some settings (not sure why) but no biggie.
What I'm trying to track down is why I'm getting the faintest of ground hums which is pretty evident in the headphones I'm using with the personal monitor I use at church. The hum isn't audible in the speakers or the monitors in the sound booth, but I can hear it. What could it be?
Here are sound clips of my SX MM/J. I'm playing them through a Zoom B3 on the Hartke setting and it's strung with Sadowsky flats.
