Hohner B2A problem?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Hohner B2A headless bass. I find that when I switch to active mode then turn the bass/treble all the way up that it distorts.

Does anyone else have this model and do they have the same problem?

Thanks!

If it distorts all the way up, two things are possible:

A) The battery's gone sour and needs replacing
B) The operational amplifier (the one chip on the circuit) or some other part has gone bad and needs replacing.
