| Hot Pickups for a Fender V???

Over the years, I've grown to appreciate high-output, modern pickups in Jazz basses. My favorite tone, actually, was from a Squier in which I installed Sadowsky HC pickups. Those things are amazing!
I've had the Dimarzio UltraJazz as well and they seemed to make me as happy...
And then I got some Nordy Big Splits in a Lakland and that was also killer. Super punchy and high-output-y.
Lo and behold, I bought a set of the Nordstrand NJ5FS to put in my US Jazz Dlx, in the hopes that they'd reach the same level of OOOMPH! And while they did make the bass sound a little more modern, they seemed to have the same "politeness" that came with the original SCN pickups. Better tonality, but not super aggressive.
Because of Fender's Jazz V pickup size, options are definitely limited. The Sadowsky and Dimarzio size is a no-go. I'm not planning on hogging out the body for soapbars either.
Anyone have a suggestion for something that will fit, be noiseless, and punch like Mike Tyson on PCP?
