Seriously, my Euro Spector 5 is ridiculously hot, is there anything else out there that is comparable? |

I tried over 30 basses before choosing the spector. Funny thing is, I had always overlooked it, but none could compare to it when it came down to it. The tone variety is not as broad as I would like but for that responsive full piano like sound i was going for it was the best. |

If you want a clear, wideband tone, pianolike, then high output pickups generally won't get you that because of the compromises that a large number of windings can bring. There are some exceptions, such as Villex, Q Tuner and Darkstar. Comments based on posted specs and other's experiences as of the three I only have Villex at the moment.
