Thanks Martin. It has to exist because I have it on my Noll preamp (mid freq/boost&cut) but stacked volumes would also rock.

EQ is beautifully voiced for any bass, in my experience.

I have 7 basses with the Audere classic 4 band preamp ... they all rock. It is my favorite preamp.

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

I find mine to be a little too hot and I have to turn down the volume. I usually am boosting 2 to 4 of the 4 tone knobs. This makes the signal hotter.

Thanks

Ooooh! Could I buy one of those and switch it into my bass? It's the only thing keeping my bass from being the best fretless on the planet. Will send you a pm...

I just sent off an order to Audere for the classic 4-band with 4 knobs - volume, balance, high-mid/treble (split), and low-mid/bass (split). Gold satin knobs if it matters . I also ordered some conductive-adhesive copper shielding tape from another supplier.

Here's a pic of the 765A pre-amp cavity with the cover off - the cover has aluminum foil shielding - the cavity itself looks like it has something gray sprayed inside but the coverage isn't good.

I'll start another thread and post some pix of the conversion when it's done. Keep chatting meanwhile and thanks for the replies.
