Yes, just heat it until the solder melts and off it comes. Use a fairly hefty iron for this so it gets hot fast, 25 watts is OK. Otherwise you may overheat and ruin the new pot while waiting for the target solder area to get hot enough-in other words, do it hot, do it fast...

Tin the tip of the iron with solder so its all silvery first, then go to work. Clean the tip occasionally with a damp sponge and re-tin before continuing to work. And always heat the work,
not the solder.
