How could I build a stereo kill switch pedal?

Sign in to disble this ad
Not sure if this is the right place for my question, but here goes...

I'm a bass player AND drummer, and recently on drums I've wanted the ability to count off tempos from a metronome (using in-ear monitors) then kill the click with my foot after the tune has started. So the finished product would be an on/off stomp switch with stereo in/out.

I've been building my own cables for a while but never gotten into building pedals. Any thoughts?

Thanks!
Bryan

Four jacks and a switch. DPDT for unbalanced, 4PDT for balanced. The inputs go the the Normally Closed throws, the outputs go to the Commons, and the Normally Open throws get grounded.
