How to differentiate by look

I have acquired some MM Fender Jazz pickups, and want to replace the pickups in my Squier Jazz Bass. How do I tell which of my new pickups is for the bridge, and for the neck? Got them from a friend who didn't label them when he took them off his bass.

The bridge pickup should be 1/4" longer than the neck.

Unless these are pickups from a Mexican Jazz bass from whatever years they were making both pickups the same size. If such is the case, the DC resistance would indicate which was which.
