how do i change the pickups on a jazz bass, and what pickups would be good?

i have a standard jazz bass, and i wanna upgrade from the stock pickups. 1st off, how do i do this? 2nd, what pickups would be better: EMG JHZ Passive or Basslines Vintage Jazz? Both are passive, i dont wanna upgrade to active. the EMG is basically their normal pickups in the form of a passive jazz pickup. anyway, please, HELP HELP! o yea, this is a duplicate of my other one, i 4got to put in the poll

You forgot the poll again, but it doesn't really matter.

I would personally steer clear of the passive EMG's. Their specialty is an active pickup, and I've always found their passive pickups to be rather sterile sounding. The Basslines are good pickups, but there are plenty of other pickups out there.

Replacement is easy if you have experience wielding a soldering iron.
