how this setup would sound like?

I'm gonna list some elements of bass and amplification and I'd like that you guys could give some opinions and ideas about the tone achieved with this combination.

Bass:
-Neck thru construction
-Hi mass bridge (badass II or gotoh 201)
-P and J pickups (vintage, like duncans spb1/sjb1)
-2 band active preamp ( +/-12db at 40hz and 4khz)
-Stainless strings (prosteels or roto's 66)
-Playing with a pick

Amp and cabs:
-Solid state head (think gallien krueger)
-410 speaker cabinet with aluminum drivers (hartke)

I know you can get lots of variations with all the controls but just try to imagine the sound without cranking any knobs.

You left out the type of wood, and the scale length. They affect the tone more than it being neck through.

Maple neck? How about the fingerboard?

You can find a lot of basses made like this for an example.
