I am going to buy in the next 24 hours .......

some Nordstrand NJ4 pickups for my squier fretted vintage modified bass. It has a Jretro preamp (all be it, rarely gets used on its powerful active setting) and a gotoh 201 bridge. I'm after a nice round, full, warm and cuddly tone.

Anybody got any reason to stop me? compatibility issues, better options ect ect blah blah?

I'm based in the UK

Cheers!

No reason to stop you.
But perhaps I can confuse you?
Are these Lollars cuddly enough for you?

No reason to stop you. Get them. I had the NJ4SV's and the J-retro and that jazz slayed!

I got NJ4 and J-Retro on my J and like it in spite the preamp has too much boost on treble side the PUs can tame it quite nicely.
